Organize Life this Spring with Tips to Get Organized & Energized

1- Get your ‘to do’ list out of your head and into an action plan.

2- In each area of your home/ office note what needs handled in each area.

3- Choose which areas and actions take top priority.

4- Stay focused on what you will experience at completion rather than the task at hand.

5- Feel how great it feels to build a record of completions (before you even get started).


6- When decluttering begin with an energy draining area you notice often. Once cleared it will have the opposite effect making you feel great and energized.

7- Every thing has a home. Hardware with hardware. School supplies with school supplies. The hammer is not in a living room drawer (unless, of course, it makes sense).


8- Be aware of distractions. Set boundaries to avoid squandering time by saying ‘no’ to the tv, phone, e-mail, and limiting time with visitors, etc.

9- Set a goal for the amount of time you aim to spend in the area you are working to maintain productivity.

10- Work quickly through a section of clutter. Resist the temptation to reminisce.
